The Mizzou Botanic Garden approached our team with the idea of creating a retail line to raise visibility of the garden’s work across campus. I developed a range of concepts to help our clients narrow down the options for their first experience creating branded merchandise. T-shirts, mugs, and tote bags were created and are being sold in the Mizzou Store.

These Holiday graphics were created as resources for use across the entire University of Missouri System. Included on stationery, email greetings, and even as a header graphic on missouri.edu, this collection provided festive spirit to all of Mizzou. The Missouri Student Association is the student government body at Mizzou. Their logo was dated and they requested help in developing new branding. Recognition and involvement are two of the organization’s consistent struggles With that in mind, I developed a logo for them that tied them closely with Mizzou and that would be evergreen enough to last them for a long time as they grow their relationship with students and other stakeholders.

Using existing photos, I was asked to design digital banners for Y107. These would highlight each personality while maintaining brand cohesion. I chose fun, grunge inspired elements to showcase the wide variety of personalities on the station.

Tasked with creating a window vinyl concept that will be installed at Brookside student properties as a privacy feature for the street level windows. Project brief specified that the vinyl showcase property amenities to the large amount of pedestrian traffic in downtown Columbia, MO.

I created a directional wall mural for the second story of Hideout Bar and Grill. Guests would see this at the top of the stairs and at the elevator and be able to choose if they would like to visit the Patio (rooftop bar) or Dayclub (exclusive access for residents of Midtown).

I designed several promotional giveaways for Brookside and Midtown student housing properties. All materials were designed to integrate with on-campus homecoming events at each campus while showcasing our brand.

Pool parties provide a chance to build brand value by engaging residents. Plus, they are just a fun time! Deliverables included printed posters, social media graphics, email graphics, snapchat filters, and apparel for giveaways.

I developed two large murals for installation in our Midtown, Stillwater fitness center. Residents are college students attending Oklahoma State University.

I designed these van wrap concepts for Park Restaurant and Bar.

I provided Graphic Design, Packaging Design, and Product Design for this Manufacturing company specializing in retail displays. Their main capabilities are metal, plastic and wood, so designs focused on making the most economic use of available materials.

Samples of work done for IQ Design Labs, the in-house design office of PolyOne Corporation. Projects came from international brands including Wrigley, Lysol, Darigold, Campbells, Li’l Critters, Alere, Hershey, and more.

For my graduation thesis, I co-led a collaborative team that designed a blood test for at-home use. Our successful design featured a drastic reduction in manufacturing costs and was effective for private use. It also established a brand that promoted regular, life-saving screening for blood borne pathogens.

I worked as a Graphic Designer/Photographer for this active office. We worked to engage Southern Illinois University (SIU) students and Alumni.

These are a few of the projects from my time in school that resonated with me and have built a foundation for my professional design career.

The first is a brand identity exercise. We started by drawing two brands out of a hat and then identified a target market and consumer profiles. The result was not just a product, but an entire marketing campaign to match.

The second was an interior decorating challenge. We were tasked with developing a small indoor accessory made from available reclaimed materials. My project was selected for manufacturing in Thailand.
